Dr. Gordon H. Guyatt, is a Canadian physician, general internist, and Distinguished University Professor at McMaster University. Widely recognized as a pioneer of evidence‑based medicine, he coined the term in a 1991 paper and led its global adoption through a 1992 JAMA article. He has published over 1,200 peer‑reviewed articles and authored major reference works like Users’ Guides to the Medical Literature. His work has influenced guideline development and clinical epidemiology worldwide.

Prof. Waleed Alhazzani

Dr. Waleed Alhazzani, MBBS, MSc (Health Research Methodology), FRCPC, is an Associate Professor in the Departments of Critical Care Medicine and Health Research Methods, Evidence & Impact at McMaster University. A consultant intensivist and gastroenterologist, he is a leading methodologist in clinical practice guideline development, notably serving as Methodological Chair for multiple international ICU societies.

Dr. Mohammad Soliman Ebraheem

Malignant Hematologist

Kuwait Cancer Control Center

Dr. Mohammad Soliman Ebraheem is a malignant hematologist at the Kuwait Cancer Control Center with a special interest in plasma cell neoplasms. He completed his internal medicine and hematology residencies at McMaster University in Canada, followed by an advanced fellowship in multiple myeloma, amyloidosis, and dysproteinemias at Mayo Clinic Rochester. He also holds a Master’s degree in Health Research Methodology from McMaster University, with a focus on evidence-based medicine.
